Book binding

Sewn and glued hardback

It is a very robust, stable and high-quality type of binding, thanks to which the reader can enjoy the purchased publication for a long time. Its excellent use can be seen, for example, in albums or exclusive illustrated items. Due to high openability, there is no issue with large horizontal photographs or beautiful “transitional” illustrations.

Primary uses: niche publications, albums, large-volume poetry volumes, academic textbooks, collector’s editions, calendars.

This type of binding is particularly suitable for full-paper, linen and leather covers, on which a number of finishing touches can be applied: uv lacquers (spot, puff, glitter), lamination with gloss, matt, soft-touch, scratch foil, die-cutting, embossing and hot stamping.

Soft sewn and glued

Durable type of binding used primarily for publications that are “reusable” such as school textbooks, academic scripts, catalogues. Quite strong binding, ensuring high openability of the block.

Primary uses: academic textbooks, catalogues, guidebooks, prayer books, songbooks.

Almost all types of finishing can be used here: UV lacquers (spot, puff, glitter), lamination with gloss, matt, softtouch, scratch, die-cutting, embossing and hot foil stamping.

Soft glued

This is a commonly used type of binding. It also guarantees high quality and quite fast production due to the elimination of some of the bookbinding steps necessary, for example, with sew-and-glue binding. In addition, binding with PUR glue guarantees even higher strength and durability of the product and its better openability, and is only slightly more expensive than hot-melt glued binding.

Primary use: novels in soft cover (readers, pocketbooks, specialist magazines and journals, guidebooks, boards, schoolbooks, notebooks).

Almost any kind of finishing can be used here: UV lacquers (spot, puff, glitter), lamination with gloss, matt, softtouch, scratch, die-cutting, embossing and hot foil stamping.

Soft wire sewn

A cheap and very popular form of binding. Thanks to the use of the so-called safety staple in our line, publications using it are also suitable for the youngest users – children. Above all, it joins the fold in publications of small volume.

Primary uses: newspapers and magazines, colouring books and educational books for children, instruction manuals, story books, catalogues, offer presentations, notebooks and stationery, notebooks and binders.

Spiral binding

Another very durable type of binding that gives the user great freedom to turn the pages and full openability. Spiral binding also guarantees that the publication can be used for a long time.
